Excellent article Andrew. I agree with your point of view. Would the SF Chron publish some of your stuff? Seems to mesh with a recent Ezra Klein interview re crime, drugs, and disorder.
A deeply painfully -- moving -- account, not only of life on the city's mortally perilous streets but also its demoralizing effect on the rare advocates of its victims.. I walked those San Francisco streets with Andrew a couple of times back in 2016 or so, and I marvelled at his extraordinary mixture of compassion and professionalism. I marvel again now at his honesty. Without constant reflection and re-examination, there will be no progress in any of our efforts to address deadly crisis today, whether its setting is the dismal urban jungle, the tottering structure of democracy or the explosive deterioration of the climate.
Yup, I remember all this too, and pulled back as well. I have been asking for camping grounds too -- why is that not on the table?
Hey Judy, correct me if I'm wrong but Paula never published the data on reimbursement for the hep B vaccination, right?
You are correct, as far as I know...
I sent you a separate message to an aol account -- was that the right e-mail?
I don't have an aol account. Use this: amoss545@gmail.com

Nuanced, frank, complex, and important.
